When people tell me they don’t like to set goals because they don’t want to be disappointed it breaks my heart a little bit.

Because i know that the deeper reason for this is that usually in the past they simply did not do the most vital part of any goal setting process..

I believe that setting and meeting meaningful goals is one of the most self-empowering acts a human being can do..

It means progression into deeper aspects of ourselves, resulting in a deeper understanding of life and our place within it…

In my eyes, goals should never come from trying to acquire money, reputation or likes...

I only ever set goals with the intention of growing myself emotionally and spiritually.

Conscious attention toward the attitudes, meanings and decisions you made along the process that caused the outcome to not happen

Planting yourself in the mastery seat of your life, meaning making it an internal journey and never placing blame on anyone or anything outside yourself

Asking yourself: "what do i need to learn to make this possible for me when i try again"

Holding firmly the beliefs that “i can learn and become anything” & “It’s not a matter of if it will happen for me, but of when”

It's hard to not take it personally, we can be so hard on ourselves with this process!

Never go after goals that your heart isn’t invested in…

Never sell yourself to someone else’s idea of how you should live your life…

Always be true to your word, your commitment and what you’ll say you’ll do…

The fastest way into a depressive/anxious/low self-esteem state is to apply excessive pressure on yourself and to break the promises you make to yourself and others…
